Poop success!

DD hadn't had a poop since Tuesday the 15th - crazy right?  She's EBF and everyone says they can go for a week to 10 days without pooping, but she was starting to get fractious at night.  Not crying in pain but calling out in her sleep when she never did before.  And lifting her legs up a lot too.

Called pediatrician on Monday and she said be patient.  Today was day 10 and they advised to give her water with some sugar in it.  Happy to report we have a dirty diaper!  Yay!!

The take away from all this is?  I can't believe I'm this obsessed with someone elses bowels.  Or that I'd be this happy to see a dirty diaper.

    I feel like the poop police.  I all but dance when my LO poops!

    I completely understand, When I stopped BFing and started using formula, LO went from pooping 4-6 times a day to once I freaked all the way out.....

    I cheer and dance around when DS poops! Lol.. The joys of motherhood!

    I've never been so concerned/obsessed over someone's poop (including mine)!  It's like a holiday in our house when DS poops.
