Holden Alexander is here!!!

My sweet little baby boy was born on wed 5/23/12!!! I am so in love.

My dd was the 21st and I am so glad he was only two days late. I didn't like the unknown (ftm). So, on Tuesday my husband and I had a busy afternoon and I wasn't feeling any different until about 7:30 P.M and the contractions started. I called the hospital and they said to come in when they are 5 minutes apart for an hour. So, we started timing them and right away they were 4 to 5 min apart! We headed to the hospital. I labored in the regular tub for most of it and had him in the birthing tub. He was born at 3:46 A.M on wed. My first baby and only 8 hours of labor, had the water birth I wanted and all natural. This is one happy mama!!! It was pretty intense and happening so fast but holding him made it all go away. He has beautiful blue eyes and lots of red hair.

A big thank you to my husband and midwife. I don't know how I would of done all that without them.
