can anyone walk me through nap training?

are we facing the same beast as night training or is it better/worse/same? we did sleep training for DD at 7 months but chickened out on the nap training. Then we faced a few illnesses, 2 teeth and now we're in better shape. I also realize this window of opportunity is closing.

We did sleep easy solution (basically ferber i think, with check ins) and she did ok for night time.....about 4-5 nights and she was STTN. She goes to bed now with less than 5 min of fuss.

DS never was nap trained and (DH and) i would have rather chewed glass on a daily basis than to get him down for a nap once he was out of the rocking phase.

I'd like to tackle this starting tomorrow......

    I'd say do it just like you did for night time. We didn't do anything different except for the fact that nap routine doesn't include a story while bed time routine does. GL!
