Still pregnant mommies... are you feeling movements very low. Last night I kept getting sharp pains REALLY low (definitely from the baby moving in some way) and I was freaking out that she was kicking me (as in, maybe she went to breech). I am now questioning every movement after my whole breech scare, I realize this, but these movements were really fast and hard. I woke up my husband and told him and he said maybe it is her head or her fists... but I didn't think their little hands could do that lol. He also said maybe she is getting lower (but she still seems pretty high up in my ribs - 40 weeks tomorrow).
Re: Very low movements
I'm feeling really weird movement too. I also had a stubborn baby who was breech from 36 weeks and I had a c-section scheduled for the 24th when we found out earlier this week he finally flipped head down at 39 WEEKS! So maybe our kids should be friends, since they seem to be stubborn and do their own thing on their own time!
I'm not really feeling too much movement low - we were so shocked that he had flipped on his own after being breech for so long. My midwives said his head is engaged and very low and I'm 3cm dilated already and I mainly only feel movement up high, past my belly button. It feels like his butt and feet moving back and forth. Of course, it sort of freaks me out to feel big lumps like that because I start to worry he has flipped back to breech, but I'm 99% sure he's still head down and low. GL and I hope your little girl decides to make her appearance this weekend!

My kid is training for a karate tournament in there and is killing me with the head butting and fist punching to my crouch. I am defiantly have movement on top and bottom. My Ob actually taught me how to feel for the head. She did mention though the only reason I could do it is even though ive gained a whopping 60lbs my skin on my stomach is so thin you can feel it.
Either way I think your just gonna be paranoid about this until baby gets here. I know I would be if my baby had done what yours did in the past few weeks. My baby will go down during the day and as soon as I wake up hes back in my ribs. They say sometimes baby doesn't drop till you go into labor.
Are you still feeling movements higher too? I know little one is defiantly still kicking upward along with the crazy movements in my lower tummy.
Yes... last night was really the first time I felt those -- head butts? haha I haven't felt much change from where I thought her little bum was in my ribs so I'm sure she is fine. At this point, I am just going to roll with it. Like my husband said, whatever happens right now, that's kind of it LOL. Yesterday I felt hiccups higher than normal, but then this morning I felt them low again so of course... I am just driving myself nuts. I'm going to let it go! :-)
Wow! Good for you :-) Our children are definitely a match made in heaven haha.
Im due tomrorrow too! I feel her hands and head and who knows what rubbing everything down there, its like feeling feet in your ribs but smaller and in my hips. Shes been head down since my 21w, and she still is now, so dont stress yourself so much. They are getting bigger and space is tight! About dropping, i definitely have, but especially if I'm sitting down i can feel her stretch and she's still sticking her toes in my ribs. Again, there's limited space and these babies have been cooking for a long time! Its totally normal, especially if youve got an active healthy baby!
