Called for my scheduled induction to be told I probably won't get seen today. OK, then. Can you at least tell me at what point I'll no longer be in limbo, because I'm hungry and thirsty. Nope, I have to keep calling back.

Yeah, trying to stay chipper, but it's not working very well. I had gotten psyched up for the whole thing, and now nothing. Don't know when it can be rescheduled. The whole point of it being today was because she didn't want me to go until the 29th.

I'm so sorry. I know exactly what you are going through. With DS#1, they told me to be at the hospital at 6am. I was in the shower at 5am and they called to say they were too busy and not to come in. They made me wait until 9pm to come in and the doctor was actually trying to make me wait until the next day. I yelled at her and told her I already went the entire day waiting, after a night of no sleep, and did not want to go through another night of no sleep. Luckily, he came quickly and I wasn't up all night long. Anyway, hopefully they won't make you wait long and you can go have your baby soon!

It's been rescheduled for Tuesday at 5:00am, and it can't be bumped because I'm 35+ and overdue. So, sometime between now and Tuesday, this little bugger has to come out. I'm going to find food.

What is up with the belief second babies come earlier?!
