Going on vacation!

I have today off, and then tonight we are taking the red-eye to the east coast!  Lucia's first flight and first big vacation!  We are going to my 10 year college reunion this weekend, and then next weekend we are going to a wedding.  In between we are visiting as many people as we can fit in.  

It's going to be a whirlwind week!  I hope Lucia does alright with all of the change.  I'm excited, but also super nervous.  Wish us luck!

And if anyone has travel advice, I'd love to hear it!

    We had water damage to our home when our Son was 7 weeks.  We lived in a hotel for two weeks.  I put him in the PnP  in the darkest part of the room.  

    Rearrange lights so you can see when you need to change and feed at night.  

    If possible get two queen beds and sleep in the one farthest from your LO.  That way when she goes down you can still stay up with some lights on and watch TV or just hang.

    The AC is kinda of a pain.  We just cracked a window because the unit was so friggin loud and the temp was Cold and Colder. 

    I really think it benefitted my son to have that experience.  He went straight from being in his cradle at home to being in his own crib in his nursery.   We had zero issues transistioning.

    Good luck and have fun!  How exciting to share her with all your friends.  :)
