Poor DD...

She's been asking to go to the playground all day, so we finally got ready after her nap and headed up there. I made sure I peed twice before we left, but it didn't matter because as soon as I stood up out of the car, I had to go again! (and there aren't any bathrooms there) Plus, it's 80 degrees, which for me feels more like 90 and the playground is in the full sun. Then, all she wanted to do was sit in the swing (which is humungous...looks like a roller coaster ride seat!) and have me push her the whole time, but the thing is so heavy to push that I couldn't do it for long! (especially when standing up the whole time and having to pee from all of the pressure!!) I felt bad that we were only there for like 20 minutes before we had to come home. :-(  Sorry DD! :-(

    Aww!  Don't feel bad.  My DD loves going to the park, too, and also only wants to swing half the time!  Luckily, our local park has a bathroom but it's still annoying to have to drag her with me into the bathroom!

    I have begged off of park trips lately, I just don't have the energy.  DH is doing a great job of taking DD to the park or on walks when I need some time to rest; I do feel bad that I'm not with them for that play time but I just don't have the energy to chase her around right now :(
