We're doing a mix of BLW and purees. At daycare, she gets purees, because they are a little hesitant about it still and don't want her choking... which is fine by me!
At home, she gets either oatmeal or pancakes so far for breakfast, with fruit. Either mashed up, pureed, or whole pieces. We'll start introducing more as we go, but with trying to get out the door, oatmeal really is the easiest for us.
At dinner time, she gets pieces of what we are eating, or sometimes steamed or pureed veggies, it just depends on what we're having. And we still have some baby food to use up, so I figured now is better to use it up than later.
But she's tried lots of food, bananas, pears, avocado, sweet potato, peas, mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, pasta with marinara sauce and onions, pancakes with blueberries, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, toast strips with peanut butter, etc. She's loved everything so far, and we've had no issues with choking or gagging really. She does like to shove a lot in her mouth at one time though!
