6 weeks and bleeding. Should i be worried?

I found out i was pregnant a couple weeks ago and am very happy about it. But last friday i noticed that i was bleeding and went to the hospital to make sure everything was ok. The Dr. said it could be a number of things. He said i had a UTI and gave me antibiotics. I've been taking them for 5 days now but im still bleeding. I have had no pain or cramping. I have my 1st appoinment with an OBGYN on Tuesday but im worried. its my first pregnancy and im praying that God lets me have this baby. I guess time will tell but i could really use a word of wisdom right now

is it a steady flow or just spotting? Have you taken another pregnancy test?

HUGS!! Please relax as much as possible and keep praying. I have had UTIs before and they're awfullllll. I'm sorry you're going through this right now. Have you called him to inform him you're still bleeding? I am praying for you and your little baby sweetie. *hugs*

I know you're scared! That is a scary thing to endure I imagine. I would call your OB office. Tell them whats going on. They may try to squeeze you in asap for an ultra sound to be on the safe side! Good luck!!!

Taking another pregnancy test is not great advice. Even after a complete m/c HPTs will show positive for a while.

It sounds like your Dr. thinks everything looks fine right now, so try not to worry. I've been spotting since Saturday and at my u/s yesterday everything was perfectly fine. While I have been concerned this week, I have spoken to many women who spotted for days or even weeks during 1st tri and go on to have healthy babies.

It could be normal my cousin had a period the whole time she was pregnant. Did the hospital take blood to see if your hormones are dropping?

Baby looks fine. Finally got to see baby's heartbeat. Still having some on and off spotting but im just trying not to worry about it.

i ended up losing the baby at 8 weeks. thank you all for the advice and support. i've had a while to grieve and i understand that it wasnt my fault and that my husband and i can get thru anything. just waiting for my next cycle to try again. cant wait to meet my baby in heaven someday.
