I have had three miscarriages. All of the testing I've had done has come back normal, however I took progesterone, baby aspirin and high dose folic acid with DS and did the same with this pg. with DS I started progesterone after bfp, with this one I started 2 days after ovulation. I've been told by my RE and OB that these thing can't hurt but could help. Best of luck to you.
m/c March 2009 @ 5 weeks ~ m/c June 2009 @ 10 weeks ~ m/c February 2012 @ 4.5 weeks
Thanks- have prog supps from last pg, gonna call RE to see if I can start taking today. Been taking folic acid, PNV, and baby asprin- hope it makes THE difference!!!

We first tried baby aspirin and folic acid because they thought it was a MTHFR issue (I was diagnosed with compound hetero MTHFR). That didn't work. So we tried to add progesterone starting 3DPO...that didn't work. So we did clomid paired with an IUI (because we wanted to make sure the sperm got there, DH's SA was fantastic but my mucous dried up on clomid)....that is the cycle that stuck and I'm 30 weeks pregnant with a little girl.
So after 15 cycles and 6 losses the clomid is what did it. May have been just chance but I'll never know. My RE said she thought my eggs were maturing too much before release so the clomid would help that and even if that wasn't the problem we'd have more targets to hit and hopefully stick. She just said I may have crappy eggs even though I'm young. All my fertility labs came back fine and my charts/progesterone numbers indicated I ovulated fine with a sufficient luteal phase even without clomid.
The only thing I wasn't tested for was genetic issues with Dh and I....the test for balanced translocation was almost $1000 so we never did it. That may have been our problem but I'll never get tested for it because this is our last baby anyway.

I had two prior losses, and my OB put me on Clomid/progesterone while we were TTC and now I'm just on progesterone. I'm not far along enough to be a success story for you, but so far so good. Welcome, by the way!!!

Re: For those of you with recurrent loss
Same for me. GL
BFP#1 on 02/14/09 BIRTH to Mason 6lb9oz on 10/12/09
BFP#2 on 5/28/11 EDD 2/1/12 Natural M/C on 6/13/11
BFP#3 on 1/20/12 EDD 9/30/12 Natural m/c on 1/27/12
BFP#4 on 4/23/12 BIRTH to Isabella 7lb1oz on 12/19/12
2 Angel Babies 9/11, 2/12
Thanks ladies. I'm taking aspirin bc of MTHFR as well- but when tested didn't affect homocysteine levels- but no harm.
As for progesterone- when did you all start- after BFP?
Thx so much for your input!
I started mine right after ovulation. But I know a lot of people start it when they get their BFP.
how late? I almost tried Clomid- will do next round if it comes to that (I pray that it doesn't). With clomid, what CD did you ovluate on?
btw- your hcg's look great so I hope it's a sticky baby!
