Names...oh my

I think you ladies might appreciate this...I am at work and going over applications for a scholarship. The three names that I seriously cannot get over are...ready for this:

Jorkell

Awinna

Washcarina

You can't make this crap up!!!!! Why do people continually do this to their children??

    Wow.  Jorkell sounds like a car part or a toy or something.  And the first thing I thought of when I saw Washcarina is washing a car.  Those poor kids!!

    I grew up with a girl in Elementary School and her name was

    Lovertease.

    Lov er tease

    I alwasy felt bad for her. People made fun of her name constantly.

    This... my mom worked in a city school district and they were grading standardized exams, she came across the name "Shithead"  they were foreign, I can't remember the nationality, but it's pronounced Shi-thea-ad, I still feel bad for the girl.

    This whole thread had me belly laughing, which made Maya start giggling right along with me.

    I wonder if Jorkell is pronounced "Yorkell", although I don't think it helps.
