lunch is usually dinner leftovers around here Some kind of meat - chicken, ground beef, roast, pork chop, like I said, whatever we had for dinner. Various steamed veggies, pasta if we've had it that week for dinner, bread or crackers and hummus, etc. Cheese, cottage cheese, go over pretty well too.
Veggie burgers, Leftovers, cheese sandwich, macaroni, quesadilla, low sodium soup with the broth drained so he just eats the veggies and noodles, deli meat once in awhile...
If I don't have leftovers I give her beans, a veggie, a fruit and some crackers. I made her a cheese and avocado quesadilla the other day and that went over very well, so we might do that more often.
N eats lots of wraps, burritos, quesadillas, etc. I can throw pretty much anything in one so they are super easy. Beyond that it's usually leftovers from dinner the night before.

Same as PPs. Either leftovers or a mish-mash of everything....chick peas, beans, string cheese, yogurt, tomatoes, cucumbers, bread with peanut butter, etc.
Usually it's some kind of leftovers. Today she ate spaghetti broccoli and chicken for lunch. Tomorrow I have no leftovers. She will prob have some kind of veggie, meatball and crackers or toast.
We''re still on purees here. I cannot get him to swallow table food still, so he only gts table foods when I'm there
Right there with you. Well, we just added cheese to the list of finger foods he'll swallow. It's now up to Puffs, cheez its, banana, and cheese. I can't believe some of these things other kids are eating!
Re: What's on LOs lunch menu?
What I packed for tomorrow's lunch:
1/2 banana
about 1/2 cup strawberries/pears/peas/broccoli
peanut butter on whole wheat bread (a quarter of a sandwich)
plain yogurt
string cheese
We usually do leftovers from dinner too, but some days I just send random stuff. Daycare doesn't judge ;-)
I need some help with lunch, too! I usually give her a combination of some of the following:
cottage cheese
cheese cubes
steamed veggies like carrots, squash, broccoli, cauliflower
diced fruit
pasta with sauce (she loves this but it makes such a big mess!)
diced chicken

BFP!! 8/29/16 --> EDD: 5/11/17....it's a GIRL!!!
Like other, a lot of times it's leftovers paired with a veggie & fruit. Otherwise, these are the foods in our regular rotation:
crackers & hummus
cheese cubes and crackers
cottage cheese
yogurt
grilled cheese
I'll just add in a fruit or veggie, or in some cases (like cottage cheese & yogurt) I'll put in a Kashi cereal bar (he loves those things!)
