Baby is Here!

Just wanted to let you guys know my baby was delivered by 'emergency" C-section on May 11th.  We went in for an ultrasound at 34 weeks, 6 days and she was measuring at least a couple weeks behind.  The doctor said she could be fine, but there was a possibility that she was not getting the nutrients she needed, so her heart could stop at any time, so it was best to get her out.  She was born healthy at 3 pounds, 8 ounces, but taken to the NICU.  We've been going back and forth for the past two weeks for her feedings, and pumping every three hours to make food for her.  She's doing great, and coming home TODAY!  We are so excited and thrilled!  I'm not sure how many of our original June Mommies are still around (I know many took off to Facebook), but wanted to give an update to anyone who was interested!

    Congratulations on your baby girl!  So exciting that she is going home today--let the fun of dressing her up in baby girl clothes begin!  I have gotten the best deals on newborn clothes, and they fit my daughter perfectly.

Confirmed second miscarriage, no heartbeat, no growth beyond 7 weeks, 5/19/09. TTC again, on baby aspirin, due to value of 23 on Anticardiolipin Antibodies. BFP 11/15/09. Brown spotting, Beta 3735 11/25/09, Beta 5602 11/28/09. Anticardiolipin Antibodies now negative, still on baby asprin. On 100 mg of Prometrium (progesterone) until 10 weeks. Good heartbeat at 1st appt. 12/16/09. Started taking fish oil. Perigestational hemorrhage and red bleeding 12/17/09. 2nd Ultrasound-8 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/17/09. Baby measured 9 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/23/09. Good NT Scan on 1/8/10, heartbeat 164. EDD 7/28/10. TEAM BLUE! Aidan Thomas born on May 26, 2010. Baby #2, BFP 11/27/11, EDD 6/5/12. TEAM PINK! Noelle Elizabeth born 4/30/12. Blessing from God, Blessing from God, Blessing from God, Blessing from God.

    I am so happy for you! Congrats on your baby girl! It is wonderful to hear that things are going so well and that you can take her home. I wish you the best with feeding and your own recovery as you get used to life as a mom.

    Congrats on your baby girl!  I feel your pain about being in the NICU for 2 weeks.  Our baby just came home Monday after being in the NICU for 2 weeks as well.  Enjoy her!!
    Jennifer TTC #1 Dx PCOS 2009 Apr, Aug, and Sept tried clomid cycles.... BFN. Oct...DH SA results were normal. Me...HSG - left tube was clear, right tube was slightly blocked. Dec - Clomid #4 200mg Feb 2010 - IUI #1 200mg Clomid = BFN. June 2010 - IUI #2 200mg Clomid = BFN. March 2011 - IUI #3 w/ injectables = BFN (1st & last with RE, moving on to IVF).     So glad you were also lucky enough to bring your baby home after two weeks.  Some of those NICU babies are in for a while.
