So Tired!

Julia was up eight times in the night!  Not crying, not hungry, just awake and babbling!  Anyone else deal with this?  Any suggestions?  I can just leave her to play in her crib but I don't even realize I'm awake until I'm already in her room checking in her.

Did she reach a new milestone?  We call them "brain spurts", where they have just learned something new and forget that they need sleep lol.

I would definitely make sure I have the monitor on, and just let her be while I lay down.  You may not completely sleep, but at least you can rest.  If she's happy, leave her lol.

Hopefully she'll get back in the swing of things tonight or in a few nights.

Usually when Q is up at night, he's POed, but i definitely go into autopilot, just sitting by his crib singing ABCs until he's calmed down again.

No new milestones although she began rolling in her crib last week.  Oh well...  Luckily I'm off work tomorrow so I can sleep in a bit. Plus we are visiting my mom this weekend and she will get up early with her!

  • we are in the midst of this (more so with naps then night but I totally expect night sleep disruptions to increase).  DD is learning to crawl and we have started to find her on her belling moving about her crib instead of sleeping.  We are trying to let her be to sort it out and if she doesn't sleep we can't force it.
