Let's AW our LOs

I'm having a blah day. I need a pick me up. These stories killed me with cuteness, so I'm stealing this from 12-24. I think every month I say "This age is my favorite!", because B's personality is coming out more, she's becoming more expressive, I'm starting to see her quirks. 

 When B gets upset or frustrated with something she crinkles her nose, flairs her nostrils, and breaths in and out very dramatically. It cracks me up every time I think about it.

Anyone else want to AW something adorable about your LO?

    That is cute Ali!! 

    Bowen was such. A. Serious. Baby. It was lao hard to get him to give us a good belly laugh! Not anymore friends! This Bo baby will crack up at anything! Yesterday I was shaking a water bottle and he would crack up at the bubbles insdiscovered I discovered I could put my mouth on it and blow and the water would bubble up inside (try it with a Fiji water bottle- it is sweet) he thought that was hilarious! I looked like a total dork, but my baby was happy!

    My LO just started doing this too.  I call it his dragon face.  Sometimes he does it just to make us laugh.

    My little guy was in the bath last night and he heard daddy downstairs.  So he yelled for him as loud as he could and laughed when DH yelled back to him.

    A smacks her lips to make little popping noises. It's hilarious.

    She also has started growling while she's playing, with a big smile on her face.

    On Tuesday I had Q on my lap and he was practicing waving. The cat came over to us and I said "Hi Kitty" and waved to him. Q waved too and said "Hi!" as clear as day. Then he looked at me with a huge grin. This kid is so damned cute it's ridiculous.

    He started waving Smile  He doesn't have it perfected yet, but he's getting there.

    This morning was the sweetest.  I wasn't ready to be awake, DH was, and J was babbling in his crib.  DH went to get him and put him in our bed (we have cuddle/play time while we all wake up).  I was on my stomach, and J crawled onto my back and started "smacking" me saying "Mamama, mamama!"  It was an awesome back massage first thing this morning.

    She has started saying "babababa" and she says it all day long. Sometimes it's loud & excited, sometimes it's quiet & sweet. It melts my heart.

    She also does what we call the Cara Face - big smile, scrunched up nose, eyes almost closed and then she snorts. It cracks everyone up.

    Our LO did the cutest thing last night...though I'd never let on.  He screamed for almost two hours at bed time.  By that point, I couldn't take it any longer, picked him up and rocked him to "sleep".  When I laid him down, he opened his eyes, gave me the cutest smile as if to say "Sucker..I got what I wanted".  Then he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

    I also say every stage is my favorite.  DH and I are having so much fun with A right now.  But a couple of my favorite things are:

    1. the babbling!  He'll have full blown conversations with me.  I'll ask "how was your day" and he'll respond "la la la da da". I die.

    2. The kissing.  My heart just melts.  He likes to kiss my cheeks and once in a while, he'll put one hand on DH's face and lean in to kiss his cheek.  It's just about the sweetest moment to see that happen.

    L likes to talk and make noises into cups or hollow toys and listen to the echo.  Then she holds it up and grins like she's so proud of herself.

    I always think the current age is my favorite too.  B figured out she can play peek a boo too now.  She holds a burp cloth up and then drops her arms with a giant grin, then does it again and again.  I love it!  Her current form of moving is the inch worm.  She can get pretty much anywhere, but its just by getting on all fours, then laying down, then up, then down.  When she gets the toy she was after she always smiles at me.  I love it!

    I think T thinks we have a maid named "Nay-Nay-Nay" because when she wants something, thats what she screams lol

    Oh, did I mention I have recently discovered that I am Nay-Nay Stick out tongue

    BUT this is one girl I don't mind being a maid for!! So cute!

    Carter does this as well and it's so cute!  He's doing so many new things lately.  He's also started to wave...he doesn't quite have it down, but he's definitely waving.  A few days ago, he started saying "Hi Da!" and said it right to DH!  And he's screeches every time he sees one of the cats...he loves them, but now that he's more mobile, they're not so sure, lol.
