  Yes...except right now I can't because of MTX.

  BFP #1 11/27/11 EDD 08/08/12 M/C 01/27/12 12 wks 2 days
  BFP #2 04/25/12 EDD 01/04/13(?) confirmed ectopic 05/16/12 6 wks 5 days 2 doses of MTX-Lost left tube on 05/25/12 Back to TTC, earlier than originally expected.
  BFP #3 01/05/13 EDD 09/17/13 u/s 1/24/13-great appt, measuring 2 days ahead, NT scan 3/11/13-great scan measuring 4 days ahead, A/S 4/29/13-another great scan can't wait to meet my baby BOY!!!!!

  I was never told to stop- except for the 48 hrs before the D&C- so I've continued to take them.

  I started taking my prenatals the day I came off BCP's January 2010.. Got BFP November 28 2010..Delivered Aidan and said goodbye March 29 2011.. Still taking them to this day.   My nails look great!

  I have been taking them since we started TTC.  I was never TOLD to, but when I told my GYN and then RE, they both encouraged that fact. 
  

  Began TTC #1 in January 2011

  Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012

  +#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d

  +#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13 

  7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats.  153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm

  9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B.  A and C are growing on track.  A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.  

  Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

  Never stopped except for the 2 days post d&e. Doctor says it doesnt hurt anything just better prepares yourself and you should have been taking the at least two months before.

  BFP#1 9/7/11 EDD 7/23/11 mc @21 weeks caused severe bladder obstruction on 3/14/12

  Yup!  I started taking them before TTC, and am still taking them even while on the bench.  There are some studies that a good build up of folic acid prior to conception can lead to a healthier pregnancy.  Who knows if it is true, but I have not heard them being dangerous.  And while my nails are not quite steel-like, my hair does look awesome!  (or as awesome as this hair can look lol)

  You should definitely keep taking them.  I was only told to stop for a few weeks after the MTX shot.  But otherwise you should be taking them throught out your entire child bearing years!

  My OBGYN upped them to a 5mg Folic Acid dose - just in case as well.

  thanks ladies..I have be taking then since I found out i was preggo in Feb. then when I lost in March I quit and then started back once I had my D&C....What type of gummies do yall take? My prenatal is the nasty horse pill??

  I originally bought the pill type and they made me gag, so I switched to the gummies.  I am currently taking the Target generic gummies.

  Aside from the obvious health benefits of a multivitamin, folic acid is for the prevention of neural tube defects. By the time the embryo's neural tube closes you've just barely found out you're pregnant. That's why it's recommended that any woman of childbearing age take a daily multivitamin with folic acid.
