I'm getting Mirena today.. Update

Ugh -- im a bit nervous :( I'm going in for my appointment at 2:30 to get Mirena put in.  I'm not a fan of having things inside of me....baby, iud, etc.  So i'm kind of freaking out!!

No real rhyme or reason to this post...just had to throw that out there

BFP #1 - 04/11/2011 - EDD: 12/22/2011 -Natural MC 5/18/2011 @ 8w6d BFP

BFP #2 - 08/12/2011 - EDD: 04/21/2012 1st U/S 9/12/2011 - Healthy baby seen -- Heartbeat at 166!

BFP #3 - 08/02/2014 - EDD: 04/09/2015 ---Prayers for a take home baby

    I got my Mirena put in on Monday. It just felt like a period cramp when it went in and lasted a couple minutes. I did have spotting for the rest of the day. And a couple times when I moved a certain way, I felt a pinching on one side. But that was gone within a day too. I kind of forgot that I even had it until this post... Like my OB said - it's pretty minor compared to what just came out of there. Good luck!

    I'm jealous! I want my IUD already! Don't worry- it is really no big deal. I hope the insertion goes well.

    Just left the clinic from getting the Mirena. It really wasn't that bad at all. I didn't even feel anything besides the speculum going in. I took the 800 mg ibuprofen before I came so I'm sure that helped.

    I got Mirena put in today also. I have always taken a pill so it feels weird knowing i don't have to do anything.
