My son loved it! It was one of his first foods after rice cereal. I just mashed it, and mixed in a little formula to thin it out. I'm going to try giving him a slice or 2 of it soon.

It's one of the few foods he actually eats lol. We started by cutting it in strips so he could gnaw on it, but now we cut it up smaller so he can pick up the pieces. We've also smashed it a bit and I've tried to spoon feed it to him, but he doesn't care for purees at all.

They are easy to prepare, just mush and add water. My DS hates them though. We will try them again because they are VERY healthy. They were on a list of food you should eat every day(not just babies, adults too)
Yes! Avocados are great for baby! I was one of LO's first foods. It would've been his first but when I bought them they weren't ripe yet so I had to wait a few days.
it was one of the first foods we gave julian, but he didn't much like it.
In all honesty i was kind of glad he didn't like it because it gave him the worst poops! i think it was all the fat, but it was gross.
I've been adding one cube of it into his lunches every day (regardless of what he's eating) to get rid of it. I just didn't have the heart to throw away 6 avacado's worth of puree. I learned my lesson though, never buy a bulk package of food for him from costco unless i know he likes it.

It was his second solid and he loves it! They have a nice mild flavor, and are creamy. Excellent easy thing for them to eat.
I did get some weird looks irl

Raw...I've never heard of cooking avocado.
DS likes it if I puree it really smooth with some banana. Serve it raw.
Here's some info in case nobody's posted it yet (sorry, I can't see the whole thread on my phone):
