We are going to Ohio for the long weekend to see some of our best friends. It's an 8 hour drive. Any Momma's have any tips that have taken road trips with their LO's?
We are also traveling this weekend to see my parents in North Carolina....it's a 7 hour drive....so I'm curious to see what everyone has to say as well!! LOL

LOL same here, 8 hour drive for us. I'll be bringing my pump along with us of course and as far as stops go, we stop at main towns on the way to fill up and/or eat and that's probably every 3 hours or so, depending on the distance from one stop to the next. so that's when I'll be feeding DS and change him. I'll also be bringing some extra BM and a bottle warmer in case he's hungry and there's no stop nearby, or we might just stop on the side and I can feed him that way.

Since DH is deployed, we have been traveling a lot. Started when Seth was 4 weeks old. My best advice is don't expect to make it in the time you think you will. When he sleeps I drive and when he wakes up, I feed him and play with him at a rest stop for about an hour. A 4.5 hour trip took us 6 hours last time.

Where in NC are they? I'm from NC
I'm curious, too! We have a 7-hour trip coming up and Nat HATES her carseat! We're dreading it...
I live in the Lake Norman area. It's right outside of Charlotte
