Had anyone ever been? Any food advice? Hotel recommendations??? Is the cabanas nice to have??? How the meal with Elmo and friends??? Lines??? This will help me so much!

After years of struggling with infertility issues (PCOS since I was 16) and 15 medicated cycles we finally got blessed with our son. We got lucky with our 7th IUI using stims...Now we are back on the roller coaster to try for another miracle..IVF cycle in May resulted in a chemical pregnancy. 2 snowbabies FET 7/16-transferred 2 blastocyst...Faint bfp 4dp5dt!
Re: Sesame place
I am not sure if I have a normal opinion, but I dont think (for how much it costs) Sesame is that fun for kids who are under 2 1/2 or 3 aside from the shows (and the character breakfast sounds fun)... none of the water stuff is appropriate for little ones except a splash area/shallow pool and there is no difference there & any other pool. (I will say I'm not sure if maybe LOs can ride on your lap on the lazy river?). For the dry stuff, we found at age 2 that there was also very little to do, a little toddler play area but most of the rides have long lines (my kids are not great at waiting for 15-20 min in a line) and there were only like 3 that were age appropriate, including the carousel. They enjoyed the show & the parade is fun if you can get a seat right by the curb.
We went back a 2nd time at christmas when they were 2 1/2 and it was so much better b/c of the lack of crowds, we rode the few rides that they could do several times since there were barely any lines and could easily get seats for the parade & the shows.
My biggest piece of advice is to pay for the VIP parking. We didn't the first time and got rained on & it was horrible getting back to the car & everything and the 2nd time we paid for it & it was awesome- easy to run back & grab things, short walk at the end of the day, etc. I haven't seen the cabanas but the VIP parking seems like a better thing to do than cabana for similar benefits (other htan changing so if you think you'll be doing a lot of water play, that might be nice).
GL!
I booked this same package--we're going in two weeks! But I wanted to warn you that the season passes that come with that package don't include parking unless you upgraded them. I called to check and that's what I was told. Seems to me all season pass holders should get at least free general parking, but anyway... Just thought I'd give you the heads up!
We went last year and LO was 2! We had a great time. We stayed at the Residence Inn because it had the kitchen areas which we wanted so we could make some meals which we definitely did.
My advice is definitely book a character lunch/dinner. Our son loved that! Honestly you sent the characters walking around the park but cant get up close to them.
And my son loved the rides and bounce area etc. We would wear our bathing suits under shorts and do the dry rides right away in the morning and then go in the water areas then head back to the hotel for nap and then a few nights we went back.
We took the hotel shuttle one day and then drove the next. We werent crazy waiting forever for the shuttle.
Really that's so dumb. Season pass holders should get all the same benefits.
We're going from June 4-9. So not really next week.
If you stay at the Sheraton it is literally across the street from sesame. It's a busy road, so you'd have to cross at a light, but better than paying $15 for parking.
