hand foot and mouth... PIP

Did this look like hand foot and mouth? Not the best pic, DS wouldn't hold his hand still.

He only has this blister and one on his tongue but he has an under the skin rash on his legs and feet.

    Yes, it could be, it's kind of hard to tell. But you'll know for sure tomorrow, it progresses quickly!

    Was he lethargic yesterday?  That's always been a 'sign' for us...

    Yes, I think it does look like HFM.  Did he have a fever a couple days ago?

    Yes, it does look like HFM. Check the rest of his body too (and between his toes) because the blisters can be all over (and tiny!)

    If it is HFM, hope he's better soon!

    Yup!  Like all viral infections it has a range of mild-severe.  He may just be on the mild side of things (fingers crossed!), so he may have only had a low-grade temp (unnoticed) if he did have one.  Just know he's contagious until the blisters have gone away/closed (per the CDC and NIH)  we had a little outbreak at work the other week at work.

    it looks a lot like C's did - he only had 3 or 4 blisters on his hands, no where else but that's exactly what they were. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

    looks like it to me :( Lexi never had any visible blisters when she had it, they were all at the back of her throat!

    A little late but yes, that's what Stella's blisters looked like.  She didnt' have many, more rash than anything.

    Jagger's is more of a rash too. One blister on his tongue and two on one of his hands. He only had one on his hand yesterday and then I noticed a new one this morning, I was expecting a lot more.
