2nd Trimester

If you are traveling for Christmas....

How far is your trip??

Mine: I'm driving (well ok....riding) back to SC. I don't know the mileage but it takes two days.

Re: If you are traveling for Christmas....

  • Oooh SC, while you're there you should totally pick up some tax-free guns. Smile Have you heard about that yet?

    No!! What's that about?

  • We will only drive about 20 minutes to my parents house for dinner and then DH's rents live a mile from there for dessert... easy traveling for us.

  • I'm not traveling for Christmas, but I wanted to tell you good luck!! And make sure you post tips and advice for travelers when you get back!  I'm flying at about 25-27 weeks and I'm a wee bit nervous, because I flew at 12 and swelled up pretty bad.

LOL, sounds like SC to me!! Yee-haw! I know a couple of exes that will probably be taking advantage of that...

  • no traveling for xmas but flying from LA to NY in about two weeks. ?should be interesting.
  • Flying 3500 (give or take a few) miles across the country from Seattle to Baltimore to visit my family for two weeks over Christmas.  DH is the best because he splurged on first class tickets for us (back in August when they were still reasonably priced!) since he knew I'd be nearing the end of 2nd tri and flying in coach wouldn't be all that comfy for me.  I've never flown first class before so I'm excited :)

  • I'm flying from Wales to Amsterdam, making a connection from Amsterdam to Boston for Christmas for two weeks.  Traveling at 27 weeks coming back at 29, wish me luck!
  • flying on christmas day from ny to ohio.  boo, compromise.  every year one of us gets christmas eve, the other gets christmas day.

Well, I may be driving this Christmas back to North Texas from SE Georgia, and it's a 18 hr. trip.
