last day of pumping at work!

So today is the day...I have been postponing and pushing it farther out each week. No more black backpack to work.  No more eating my lunch at my desk!  Yippee!

    Yay!  My last day is tomorrow!  I've been EP since day 1, so not carrying the black bag to work is going to be amazing, isn't it?!  I will still be attached at home for a few more weeks, but to have an actual lunch break will be amazing! :)  Congrats...get yourself something nice for a job well done (even if it's going out to lunch)!!!!!  :)

    Haha, this was my first whole week not pumping at work.  So liberating!  I had a great week eating and talking with colleagues.  I feel a little bit guilty stopping before 1 year because that was my original goal, but my OB wants me to stop nursing.  We are still nursing in the morning right when he gets up and he is still getting a 50/50 mix of BM and WCM in his bottles/sippies at daycare.  I know I shouldn't feel guilty because I made it 10 1/2 mos. EBF, but it is what it is.

    Congrats!  Tomorrow is my last day.  I can't believe it!

    I just started weaning from pumping today.  So I cut out one of three daily sessions.  I'm planning to continue like this for a few days then cut out another session then the last one.  I plan to continue nursing until ds and I are mutually done and I have plenty of frozen milk to get him through a bit beyond his first b-day.  I think ds is going to be hard to wean, he likes his boobies.  I will miss bf'ing too, I enjoy it and not sure if we'll have any more kids.  Ready to be done pumping though.
