Moms of headband-wearers

Has anyone's LO suddenly become anti-headband?  I've been putting them on L for months, but in the last couple weeks she just grabs it and pulls it off (or pulls it and then lets it smack her in the face).  She wears more bows than headbands, because she has so much hair, but suddenly she rips those out too.  My mom said "Oh, she found the top of her head!" but she found her head a long time ago because she plays with her hair when she eats.  It makes me sad that I can't fix her hair anymore :(  Hoping it's just a phase.

    Ry wears a headband at least 2x a week and never minds them.  Most I've made myself so they are perfect fit...  She has such little hair that I can do hair bows or pony tails yet... Did you try those teeny tiny elastics... They come in packs of like 100?  Those are harder to grab.

    That said, I have three nieces who all went through anti- headband phases... I think she'll probably wear them again... Now they might seem like a toy or a distraction.

    I bought a pack of the elastics, but haven't gotten her to hold still long enough to put one in!  I'll keep trying though.  I'm hoping to be able to do little pigtails soon.

    Also, Rylee has the best little smile!  I think that every time you post pics of her :)

    Yeah, just since Easter--that was the first time she tore it off.  She will sometimes let them be, but most days if I leave one on long enough she will tear it off.  She also tries with hats or hoods on her jackets.
