2 wks pp and I still can't feel my hands!!

For those ladies who have experienced pregnancy induced carpal tunnel, how soon did yours go away??? I have had this since my 16th week and my daughter is two weeks today and I still have numbness in my index and middle fingers and my thumb. Does anyone have any stories they can share? I'm starting to worry that it will never go away at this point?!?!?!

My mom said it took several weeks. My OB said if it isn't gone at 6mos to look at surgery.

Before giving birth, my OB said that it probably would get worse before it gets better. She was right. I'm two weeks and one day pp and I still have left wrist pain and right hand/finger pain. It's much worse in the morning (completely cramping and the tendons seem to pop) and the wrist braces (which helped while pregnant) has started making it worse. Motrin (which I have for the c-section pain) helps a little where I don't feel like I'm going to drop my daughter but the pain/numbness is still there. Though it may be starting to get better (fingers crossed...if I could).

Mine started to fade in te third week and has completely cleared up now. I hope you get better soon!

That sucks. I have the same issue and I hope I don't need surgery to correct it!! Good luck.

Popping in from April 2012 (though I definitely had a May baby)...

Mine started to get better right around 2 weeks. At this point the only time it bothers me is when LO is at the boob for long period (we've been using football hold). My doc did say it could take a few months to get better.
