Man I had a horrible day at work and I really just want to have about 3 cocktails right now. I haven't cried after a day at work like that since the last time I was pg. These extra hormones are killing me!
Some send me a cocktail please?!

I'm supposed to go to a big music festival beginning of next month....
I am telling myself that I can still go and it will still be fun without all the drinking!!
Baby's first trip!
I'm still so wrapped up in baby excitement, that I'm a-okay with giving up alcohol for the moment.
We're going to an open bar wedding in Newport this weekend and then to Mexico the following weekend with a bunch of our friends. I have a feeling I'll feel differently after these two trips.

Bartenders can mix up some very tasty virgin drinks and I have not felt left out the last few trips out with friends with one of those in my hand.
Now explaining why I'm abstaining is another matter ...

I had been craving wine a few days before I found out I was pregnant. So, the day after I had a positive pregnancy test, DH and I went out to eat to celebrate and I had a class of wine. Oh man, it hit the spot! I was only 9 or 10 dpo at the time, so I wasn't worried about the effects, but I was glad to get that craving away.

Same here. We have a bunch of weekends planned that revolve around drinking this summer...beer fests, trips to wine country with friends, etc. Guess I'm DD!

I have 3 music festivals, and a very busy social calendar.
We aren't telling ppl yet, and I'm a big drinker/smoker, worried about lying to friends.
All I want is a nice glass of Sauvignon blanc or a tequila straight up...8 months to go....

Yep! DH has already enjoyed my DD capabilities. I quit drinking a few weeks prior to finding out, so it's been about a month. Although tonight he told me he wasn't going to drink as often (by often, I mean once a week with friends and a glass of wine maybe once a week with dinner). He said he read that it's good for the man to cut back as well. Is it weird I thought this was sweet? lol

Last night my 3 year old daughter was in a mood...she didn't want to do bath time, when I finally got her in the tub she splashed water out and threw all of her toys at me... I lost my temper with her (which is something that rarely happens) and all I wanted once she went to bed was a glass of wine........I settled for cranberry juice...

ugh, me too. especially this time of year when its getting nice and warm out.
I fully intend on having a glass of wine or two once I get closer to the 3rd trimester. There is nothing wrong with that!
