Just wondering if anybody has a recommendation of a MW or natural birth friendly OB in San Bernardino County, CA. We were all set up for our home birth in NY but my DH was in a serious car accident earlier this week while on vacation and it now looks like we may be here for a while yet. I need to find somebody to at least go through some prenatal appointments with and possibly birth. Any recommendations would be extremely helpful.
TIA
Re: San Bernardino Midwives
I'm so sorry to hear about your DH.
I had my VBAC in Orange County here.https://southcoastmidwifery.com/ Call and see if they can service your area. They are the best around. GL!
I met with Karen Baker and she was awesome and I would love to use her, but it turns out my insurance won't cover a home birth. My good friend has used Karen for 3 of her 4 home births and loves her.
Here is some information that I just found doing a google search. Her email is at the bottom.

Let me know if you need any other recs. I can always ask my doula if there is any other midwifes in the area.
ETA: I hope your husbands recovery goes well and quickly! T&P's for him and you!
I went through South Coast Midwifery with my last pregnancy. They will not travel more than an hour for a birth, but if you're willing to drive to Irvine they may be willing to see you temporarily.
Karen Pecora of Blessed Beginings is my midwife for this pregnancy. I really like her. They serve the Inland Empire area.
So sorry to hear about your husband!
