Membranes stripped (ouch!)

So I was only 1cm dialated at my appointment today, and they stripped my membranes.  My fluid was on the low side of normal, and they told me to come back for another u/s on Friday.  I'm fully expecting I'll be induced on Friday if I don't go into labor before then because of the low amnio fluid.

At least I know there is an end in sight, but I was disappointed my body hadn't made more progress by now.  I've been walking like crazy and doing everything else I can to 'naturally' induce labor.  If nothing is happening tomorrow I am prob going to try castor oil.

    I'm sorry, I'm due this Saturday but I know how you feel.  Just be sure before you try the castor oil.. I've heard some horror stories and it if you think you will end up being induced soon, the last thing you want is to go into that being terribly dehydrated/having the poops miserably beforehand.

    Yeah, I'm having 2nd thoughts about it because I don't have that much time.  I was thinking that I may go in Friday and my fluid levels may be the same so they may not induce then, but I'm not betting on that.  Just drinking water like crazy now.
