Funny story

My almost 5 year old has started reading and because she is so proud of herself, she wants to read signs/doors everywhere we go.  So last week we went to the donut store before preschool:

DD: Mom - Mom what's Wh*res?  They have Wh*res here!

Me: wait, what? 

DD: Wh*res!  They have Wh*res here! (points to the word on the door)

Me:  Oh...oh sweetie - that's HOURS...as in business hours.

I was sooo hoping I didn't get a call from the preschool that day.

    I love it and I call her the queen of quotes.  She cracks me up on a regular basis with random comments.

     She told me the other day she couldn't wait for the baby to come out of my mouth so they could play.  I had to have "the talk" with her.  I kept it honest but simple and she was completely disgusted. ha!

    Love both stories!

    I told my DD how the baby comes out too... she immediately grabbed her crotch and started crying because "Now I'll never be a mommy!" Why not? "Because it'd hurt too much!!" I explained the doctor could give her medicine to make it not hurt very much and she was mollified. But now she wants just one baby not 15. That's probably good.
