Please help with our boy names. We like older names, not into anything new or too popular. Here is what we are considering right now. I think boy names are so hard!!
Oliver - Is this getting to popular?
Arthur - I don't love the nn's and although we use your daughters full name often, but we do nn's in our family also
Elliott - It bothers me a little that its becoming more popular with girl names.
Harold - this is a family name, and we like the nn Hal
Sisters name is Hazel and Last name and ends in -son, so no -son names.
I appreciate any feedback. I feel like we keep talking in circles and aren't getting anywhere. ugh. Open to new suggestions too!
Re: Possible baby boy names
Oliver -Too popular and I strongly dislike this. It is not at all manly enough for a man IMO.
Arthur - Too old for me but it is ok.
Elliott - Favorite out of your list.
Harold - It's ok if you NN Hal and because it is a family name...otherwise I would say no

Oliver - my favorite on your list, I love the name Oliver
Arthur - it's nice but I agree with the NNs I don't like Art/Artie
Elliott - since the girl thing bothers you I might avoid this name, I really like it but you might meet some female Elliot/Elliott/Elliottes
Harold - it's NMS but the family name connection gives it extra points but Oliver is still my favorite
P.S. I love the name Hazel & I really think Oliver goes best

Diagnosed hypothyroidism.
I like Oliver and Elliott.
Arthur is ok.
I am not a fan of Harold, it just seems too "old man."
I like Oliver, Arthur, and Elliott the best.
Harold for middle name? I guess if you went with Hal always that would be fine, but I had a friend named Harold and he always went by his middle name he hated it so much.
I like Oliver, Arthur, and Elliott equally, with Arthur winning out because it is under used.
Not a big fan of Harold.
Suggestions: George, Harlan, Oscar, Howard, Walter, Lloyd, Edwin, Theodore
I like all of these names, particularly Arthur.
I like Harold nn Hal, too, but I think that Hazel and Hal is too matchy as a sibset.
