Being responsible sucks sometimes.

We just finished paying off one of our cars (the other was paid for in full upfront).  We also just finished paying a few small bills... AND we found out DH was selected for promotion.  

I want a minivan.  It would make life easier on a day to day basis and DEFINITELY easier when we have guests in town or when we take road trips.  

DH wanted to go look at minivans over the weekend and I said no.  I wanted to say yes so badly... and he was in SHOCK that I said no, but we still have other bills to pay down before we need a car payment.  I know we could trade one of our cars pretty evenly for a used Sienna, but it still seems unwise to do so.

    Yes it does, we get our truck paid off in December and DH is already talking about wanting a new one. I get to keep being the mean lady and telling him hes crazy. No car payments is nice I would like to keep it that way as long as I can.

    A minivan would make life easier, but can't figure out where I am willing to cut back to have a car payment! :(
