So, there are many baby sunblock products that I am familiar with. Not for any particular reason, I bought DS the Aveeno Baby sunblock (I heard water babies stings the eyes!) and it was on sale compared to the Johnson's baby sunblock.
But...what about bugs! Mosquitos are HIGHLY attracted to me and unfortunately, due to the creek behind my home they are really bad in my yard. Also, this weekend we will be down at our river house and I know that they are bad there too...how do I keep DS from getting bit! I dont want chemicles on him....but I dont want him to be miserable from mosquito (or other) bites, either!
I think its about time we have a chat like this! Happy Memorial Day this weekend to everyone!
Re: BUGS AND SUN...Summer is upon us!
Skin So Soft from Avon works as a mosquito repellant because of the lemon-eucalyptus oils in it. There is another brand, Cutter, that made the same thing and it's called Skinsational I think.
You can use these brands, but if you are worried about all the other chemicals then you can always try making it yourself with essecntial oils. To name a few, you can buy some eucalyptus oil, lemongrass oil, tea tree oil, pennyroyal, cedarwood, and also citronella. Of course, you need to be careful not to make it too strong, you need to dilute with plenty of water.
