Went to Subway, ordered a seafood sub. The girl has several sandwiches lined up, and puts pepperonis on one, I figure it's another sub for the person in front of me. Then she looks at me and asks "what kind of cheese?", I say "oh, is that mine? I wanted seafood.".
Should be end of discussion, right? Nope, she ARGUES with me "no, you said you wanted a pizza sub!", I say "no, I said seafood". She looked at me for a few seconds, dumps the pepperonis off and says "do you need a new piece of bread too?!" I told her the current bread was fine.
But geez! I worked fast food back in high school (Subway, ironically). If I would have misunderstood a customer, I would have APOLOGIZED, not argued with them!
Re: What ever happened to "the customer is always right"?!
DH and I married 8 years. Mom of three, stepmom of one.
Good thing it wasn't me...I don't eat pepperoni and I would have made her get me new bread!
Seafood sub sounds really good right now....
that sh*t is only on tv. lol
Yep.
