Scotchguarding Glider

Hi everyone,

Have any of you sprayed Scotchguard on your Glider/Rocker?  I finally found a glider and matching ottoman that I love but it's a light, creamy yellow color.  I'm going to buy some extra fabric to make a cover for the head rest and arm rests but was considering spraying Scotchguard on the seat and ottoman.  That should be safe for the baby, right?

For those of you who have Scotchguarded before, did it work?

Re: Scotchguarding Glider

  • We did scotchguard our before DD got here - it is a light gray fabric.  It never really got crazy dirty, but the minor stains that were on it came right out when we were getting ready for LO.  It definitely worked, and I would say is worth it for lighter fabrics.
