When I eat broccoli LO's poop is green. It's always the orange/brown, runny consistency except for when I eat broccoli, it is green once or twice the next day. Has anyone else noticed this?
I dont know if it's coincidence or not but I THINK when I eat broccoli it makes LO really ridiculously fussy/gassy. I don't eat broccoli any more. It sucks, because I love it.

ditto this. I've never been able to eat broccoli while breastfeeding.

LO was that way up until he was about 8 weeks old and then it didn't seem to bother him anymore. He was so fussy and gassy and then I stopped eating it and he was fine. But I'm glad it doesn't bother him anymore because I love it too.
I also haven't had broccoli since DD was born, because I'm afraid it might give her gas...and I really miss it too!!! She has had green poop since week 9 (she's 12 weeks now) for no apparent reason. Pedi said its fine and she is happy, so i'm just going with it...

Huh. . . intersting thought. My LO gets green poop every couple of days. . . I wonder if it's when I eat broccoli- I eat it a couple of times a week probably. (It's one of my "staple" veggies.)
I've had very bad experiences with BF and broccoli. Sleepless nights screaming baby and constant diaper change kind of experiences. I learned my lesson with my first, only ate it once with my second (very big mistake). Now with my third I avoid it like the plague. That stuff should come with a warning label for nursing moms.
But I love it and miss it. I have it staring at me in the freezer everyday. I've even stopped serving it to the rest of my family because it's too tempting.
