For tuesday night! (For Gestational Diabetes). At my appointment today I was 50% effaced, a fingertip dilated, and having "irritability" but not contractions on the NST. The midwife attempted to perform a membrane sweep and seemed to do something but she said she wouldn't call it a real one since you have to be at least a centimeter to accomplish anything.

The plan is to go in Tuesday morning where they will try to stretch my cervix out in the office, and that night report to the hospital where we'll start with cervadil. Then in the morning, pitocin. She said she'd said the c-section risk is 30-40% if the cervadil doesn't work well to dilate my cervix, but if it does, 10%, and she said it usually works so I'm hopeful for a vaginal birth.
