WCM and Pooping

Since we started mixing in WCM T has been pooping or attempting too numerous times a day. It is now hard balls and he seems to have trouble passing them. Should I give some sort of juice or something to soften it?

What about trying to increase water intake? I know that DS drinks less WCM than he did BM. He also loves dried prunes diced up into little pieces and they seem to do the trick better than juice. Pears work well, too.
