Does anyone on here know each other in real life? Also, do you have favorite bumpies? How about a bumpie you hate? (You don't have to name names)

Not that I know of. I might have IRL friends on other birth boards but I have not looked.
I like everyone, Feb. 2012 is a nice place.
I don't have any IRL bump friends. I only REALLY dislike one bumpie who isn't on this board, but she sometimes comments on the babies 0-3, etc boards...She posted on the Breastfeeding board "You all smell like curdled milk, and the bags under your eyes from sleep deprivation aren't doing you any favors either" and something else about saggy boobs. Unreal. I thought she was a troll, but turns out she is just a nasty person.
I don't have any favorites, but I like some of the more opinionated girls becaue I am no good at confrontation- even though this is just an online forum, I feel like some of the posts give me courage to stand up for what I really believe in IRL.

I don't know anyone here IRL but you all have saved me and kept my sanity in check more than people I know IRL. OK, that sounds kind of pathetic...but basically, thank god for the internet. I would be clueless if I didn't have you gals to look to for advice and support. I've gotten some bad info IRL >=(
I have no favorites and no one I hate here - I love all you ladies and your precious siggy pics - but the bitty that made the comment on the BF board sounds like a real piece of work. Some people have too much time on their hands...
I don't know anyone IRL either. I do have to say I enjoy this board and everyone that belongs to it. February is just a good month full of nice people

I dont know any bumpies IRL and would like to keep it that way. The bump is a place I come to vent about people I know IRL....
Honestly I love this board, you ladies give great advice and know what I am going through (REALLY) people say they understand and can relate but you ladies are actually living it with me, it is really nice to have other persepectives from ladies who really understand, instead of someone who had a 3 month old 2 years ago and barely remembers what it was like.
There were some bumpies I didnt like when Feb 2012 was still new but those ladies have disappeared (wish I remembered their screen names), there are a few rude bumpies on other boards I dont care for but I try to stay away from the boards that make me feel like I am back in high school.
I did come across a post from a woman I've met IRL on another more special interest board here on the bump (It wasn't hard to figure out either, her real name was her screen name and she posted a photo). I don't know her well enough yet to form a real opinion though, she seemed nice.
I was on a message board with my first son born in July of 1998, back when this internet thing was still kind of new to people. We met up in real life and a lot of genuine friendships started even though I left the board within the first few years. Well, they all remembered me and somehow tracked me down on facebook last year. They are STILL posting to a message board and a facebook group, meeting up in real life, supporting each other. It's pretty cool. Except now the talk is about puberty and high school and trouble with friends, not diaper blowouts
I don't know any of the bumpies IRL - but I always find it cool when I find one from my hometown. There is one Feb mama bumpie (although I haven't seen her post lately) that lives about a half hour away from me and it's cool to know how small a world this is.
I do have one bumpie I don't like - but I haven't seen her on here in a REALLY long time (since way before we all had outside babies). She just seemed so high and mighty - and she got really nasty on one of my posts that caused a huge debate (all because I said 'I can't wait for this baby - I wish she were here already') I avoid her boards because I don't want to get into any disagreements.
I love all the Feb mama's though! They are all uber awesome!

I don't know of anyone that I would know IRL on this board. I know I have some IRL friends that do bump but I don't even know their SN's which is fine. I think it would be cool to list our closest major city nearby just to see how near or far we all are from eachother.
I do love this board though it has taught me so much and I love the feedback I get on here whether negative of positive. We are due to our own thoughts/opinions and I think this is one of the only boards where fellow bumpies respect that. Sometimes feedback I get is reassuring and sometimes smacks me back into reality and we all know we all need that time to time

Kmurph06 and I are IRL friends as of lately
And there were DEF a couple bumpies I did not care for, but theyre gone as far as I know, unless theyre only stalking these days. They were just reallyyyy overbearing in their crunchy ways. Awesome you do things that way, now let me do things mine.
I'm happy most of my favorites are all still here with the exception of Nonoemily, and HEmery (who I think about all the time, does anyone know how her and the little man are doing??)
Jewerner and I are IRL friends and we have fun pushing our giant strollers all over the place!
I don't know anyone else IRL. But everyone has been super nice about my posts, I've only had 1 or 2 snarky comments, but I can't even remember who made them.
