I've got an MRI this morning to try and figure out what exactly is wrong with my heart. Though I'm feeling much better and the meds are controlling my BP and heart rate, my ejection fraction is still around 15%, not any better than when I was in the ICU almost 8 weeks ago. So now my doc thinks maybe I have a congenital heart defect instead of it being caused by the pregnancy. I'd actually rather NOT have a congenital defect, because then I likely won't get better. Anyway, headed in to the hospital for the scan too. Hoping for good results and appreciating thoughts and prayers.

A15 January Siggy Challenge-
Good luck!
Hoping it all goes well!
Thanks, guys! The scan itself went well, despite having to spend 1.5 hours in a tiny, noisy tube feeling rather like an astronaut. It was super weird to actually be able to feel the contrast solution arrive at my heart-- it would get warm when the guy was taking images. So surreal. Now we just wait for results.
My poor hubby spent the whole time in the waiting room with the babies-- we didn't have time to arrange childcare because they only scheduled the scan yesterday. Apparently things got a little crazy for him toward the end-- he was so happy to see me come out!
