Sleep no more....6 month schedule?

Our boys were doing amazing STTN since about 4 months consistently. This past week has been crazy....they've gotten 2 teeth each and have colds but I feel like I have newborns again! They are fighting their naps (maybe 45 mins in morning, usually 2 hours) and maybe an hour in the afternoon which used to be 2.5-3 hours! And then they are so cranky because they are exhausted so they are in bed by 6:30 (normally was 7:30) but they wake up after an hour and won't go back to sleep forever and then aren waking up all night long :( All I am doing is running back and forth to their room and giving them soothers! Its driving me crazy! I am not against CIO but I feel bad because they are sick....so my question is do I need to change their schedule maybe or should I just ride this out and hope it gets better? SOrry for the long rant, just so frustrated! Just for reference they get up b/w 7-8am have 8oz bottle with cereal, nap should be from 10-12 then lunch, some fruit and veg and another 8oz bottle...nap from 2ish till 4:30-5, then dinner of bottle with cereal. Bath time then bed around 7-7:30 dream feed of 8z bottle at 10pm...any suggestions...maybe they are getting hungry for more food? Just trying to introduce it slowly because they have always had trouble with gas/digestion...had extreme colic from 1-3.5 months. TIA for any suggestions

I have no answers for you but I am going to be stalking this thread! We are going through a very similar sleep regression at just over 6 months. We are introducing solids this week and I PRAY that helps. Mama is just about worn out! Hope your guys give you some rest soon!

  • Hopefully someone will be able to help you out with this!  I can tell you my girls did this exact same thing.  I rocked and did a few other things, always giving tylenol if I felt like it was teething.  I did do some CIO once I realized that they needed to get through this, but I also think I set up a lot of bad nighttime habits that we are still dealing with at age 4!
