Addressing Invitations

I am going through my shower invitation list and I have one quick question.  How do I address the invitation to a mother and her daughters?  I don't want to put "The Smith Family" on it because that implies the husband and sons.  But wouldn't "Mrs. Jane Smith & daughters" seem a bit weird?  Has anyone else come across this?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you! Smile

    I'd just put "Jane, Mary and Betty Smith."  Or, if it isn't formal, "The Smith Ladies."

    This.  For my shower on the invite list I listed all the females' names in a family and I'm assuming thats how my mom addressed the envelopes.

    I would do

    Mrs. Jane Smith
    Miss Emily Smith & Miss Ava Smith

    My mother would say if the daughters are over the age of 16 they should each get a separate thank you note, but I'd just do it all at once.
