Book Exchange

Several of us mentioned in TTT that we would be interested in doing the book exchange butterfly mentioned. How would this work. I would love to be part of something like this! I love to read and never have anyone to talk to about books since no one else is really a reader...

    Sorry I didn't reply yesterday!  I'm not sure how it would work but I have loads of books sitting in boxes that need new eyes to read them.  

    Anyone have any idea how this could work?  I'm not worried about getting most of my books back, they've all been read and are ready for new homes.

    I checked out a couple book exchange websites to see how they do it and it's as easy as I was thinking, we can list our books, someone requests one, we mail it to them.  Easy.

    I am all for it. I cannot say my collection is as great as it once was since I went digital but I do still have a couple of boxes somewhere in my garage...

    I'd be in, too!  I mostly just have books I want to get rid of...now that I have a Kindle, everything's on there.

     It might also be fun to do a book club via this board...pick a book, all read it, and discuss via a monthly thread?  Just an idea!  I love to read!

    I like this idea A LOT!!!  I am a major book worm but am super protective over my books.  DW is a reader too but reads much slower than I do it would be great to be able to to talk to some folks about what we are reading.

    We had three BFN in the Fall of 2011. It is back on to some baby making come June. Swim little fellas, SWIM!!!!

    I'm definitely interested in participating - most of my books are packed up right now - but I can put together a list in a couple of weeks.

    I love reading - right now I'm reading Book 4 of Game of Thrones.

    I'm not so interested in an exchange (though I hope you guys enjoy if you choose to do it), but I'd probably participate in a book discussion club.
    TTC with PCOS since July 2011.

    I don't have a large book collection, but I'd be interested in borrowing some!  Also, I think the book club idea is great!

    We just culled all of our books that don't pertain to L's dissertation. LOL. But I could do an online book club.
