What are your top 5 older songs or artists/groups? Older meaning pre-2000.
ETA: Groups/Artists, because frankly, it was too hard to come up with songs.
I'll just name 5 artists:
Journey
Whitney Houston
Boyz II Men
Mariah Carey
Celine Dion

Good call. I am having trouble coming up with 5 now that I posted the silly question. Oops.
In the 90s, I loved the following:
-Ace Of Base. I owned both the cassette and CD. I still turn it up if it comes on the radio
-Dave Matthews Band. Sure, they aren't exclusively 90s, but that's okay, I liked them then.
-Spice Girls. I was a Spice Girl once for Halloween.
-Selena. I loved Selena, and it is sad that she was gone too soon.
-Barenaked Ladies. Still love, but the love started in the 90s.
ALL my favorite songs are pre 2000, so this is tricky.
I'll go with some that I loved in Middle School (or younger) and I still love them today:
Like a Prayer - Madonna
Cecelia - Simon and Garfunkel (Really almost anything by these guys is my fave)
Somebody to Love - Queen
Centerfold - J. Geils band
I love Rock and Roll - Joan Jett
In a Big Country - Big Country
Okay, this could go on all night. I'll stop there, even there are so many more!
I love "oldies" there's music I love that came out when I was born hahha. Even my 8 yr sister likes them and says they remind her of us older sisters when we are gone.
Ill be missing you- puff daddy, 112, faith Evans
1974--> lovin you- Minnie riperton
California dreaming- the mamas and the papas
1989--> te Amo - Franco de vita
Some of these are in Spanish but I love them.
