Are you painting the nursery?

If so..what color? We're having a girl, but I'm not doing the pink color. I was just thinking or repainting the room beige. Boring..eh?

    I am  very neutreal person too, and since we aren't finding out what we are having, I will stick with either, beige, celery green....something like that. I have to wait and pick out bedding though.

    We are having a girl but regardless had decided to paint the room neutrally. We're putting up a chair rail and painting the bottom section green (kinda like the color of the "local links" bar on the right of this page or the "community", "in your area", etc. bars up top). The top section will be a color in between beige and grey. We're doing all the painting tomorrow and I can't wait!

    We painted our nursery green, like the color of the background on the bump.  If you already know which bedding you are going for, maybe pick out a non-dominant color.  Ours is flowers that are mostly pink and purple, but I didn't want to paint the room that girly.  So I went with the color of the leaves behind the flowers.

    Yes, DH painted it last week. We are having a girl and her room is very light green...its called 'water sprout'  :)

    Her bedding is white/green/pink w/ lady bugs.

    If you're having a girl and don't want to go the whole pink route, I thought of painting the nursery Lilac and Pastel Yellow. We are having a boy so I gotta think of something other than blue now.

    I painted mine like the sky, so it's light blue regardless of what the baby's sex ends up being. I like it a lot. I sponge painted clouds using a mix of paint and glaze. It made the clouds subtle and yet gave them a shimmer since glaze can be more reflective than some of the paint finishes.

    Our wall is the shade of sunshine yellow and blue carpets. Luckily, they both matched our bedding so we didn't have to paint. Border was put up last night since Furniture comes tomorrow.

    Nah.  We are only in our current place for a yr longer and  we'll probably just get some wall hangings.

    Yeah, we'll paint.  Color will depend on the sex.  The rest of our house is already pretty neutral as far as paint goes, so I'd like to use color in the nursery.  Something contemporary though- no pastels for us!

    We're doing a Wayne's Coat (gender neutral) the bottom will be apple blossom green, the top cream and the middle will have a thin dark brown stripe. All the colors are picked up off of our bedding.
