in one of my other posts. And I just started experiencing them. Is this a post pregnancy thing or just a post c section thing?! Either way this is no joke! I keep waking up in a pool of my own sweat!

This. If it were in infection it usually is chills and a fever. Not night sweats. I had night sweats on and off for a few weeks after. Just hormones. Think of women that go through menopause...they have night sweats because of their hormones adjusting.

This has been happening to me for the past 4 nights. It's a post-partum thing and I feel so gross. This happened when I had my DD as well. I can't wait until it stops!

The positive thing about them for me was that it took away all of my pregnancy swelling! I lost 7 lbs in a weekend by soaking those yucky sheets every night.

Had them after both kids....it's normal. Postpartum hormones like PPs have said. DS1 was a vaginal birth and DS2 was a c-section and I had horrible night sweats both times.

I had night sweats once - but the other times, coupled with chills I had them during the day because I ended up getting an infection in my csection. To be safe, just keep an eye on it, and take your temp to see if you have any fever or if the sweating doesn't stop.

I had them when I was on the pain pills, before and after delivery. That's just how those things affect me. I don't know how much was attributed to hormones after the delivery though.
