A couple of doozies

Came across a couple of interesting ones lately.   Keep in mind, I''m spelling them oddly so that the parents might not stumble across this in a Google search.  Plus, I have no idea how they are spelled anyway.  I'm sure it's much more Cre8tiv than my post here.

Pris.ka   Maybe it's a nickname for something?  All I hear is Prissy.

Can.vas   yes, like the tent fabric and pronounced that way, too.

Both cute little 2 year old girls.

    I actually think Prisca is really pretty....I also like Petra (unrelated, I know, but they sound the same).

    Holy crap...I'm sure C a n v a s was spelled with a K, though. And possibly a 'y' and a double 's'. K a n v y s s? That looks MUCH more feminine!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I knew someone named Priska! I actually sort of liked it; it really did fit her.

    I heard Priska several times when I was visiting family in Eastern Europe. It's definitely unique over here.  Over there it seemed to be a nickname, but I don't know the full name it went with.

    I too kind of like Priska, although I also really like Priscilla (I know a family with a wonderful teenager named Priscilla). Canvas? Wow.

    Just jumping back in here...

    Didn't even think about Priska/Prisca being an ethnic-type name... duh me.  Still sounds kinda nickname-y to me, tho.  I judged the mom to be kinda pretentious, so I jumped to the conclusion that she'd make it up super-special like.

    As for little Canvayss or however you'd spell it.... I thought I misheard the mom and was hoping it was Candace.  But then she said it again to an older couple at the park with their grandson.  The looks on their faces was pretty priceless. Tongue Tied
