I guess I'm having an extra hormonal day (be it the fact that of sink broke or my lack of pizza right now). I just completely reamed someone out on my BMB. Why? Because she went and saw the "What to expect" movie and the girl who M/C was in 2nd tri and looked like she was in her 20's. Apparently her doc said that it shouldn't happen past 3 months for younger moms. Such ignorance. I think my pizza needs to get here now.

So how was everyone else's day?

    I would have ripped her apart too! I am young, but yet I still lost my baby.

    Keyword ignorance and what Dr can tell based off your age if your going to have a m/c or not? Because I would have liked that to know that in advance. But I'm pretty sure Dr's aren't psychic. 

    On a side note I was impressed over the whole scene and how they played it out.

    Good job calling her out.  I was 24 with my last m/c...age does not exempt you from problems with pregnancy. 
    11/2010 Diagnosed with PCOS

    Well, I guess tgat's true in a way. Loss happens (whether early or late loss) 25% of the time, so 75% of the time propels it into the "most women" category.,

    I saw the c+p on your bmb. It bothered me more that "watching m/c" affected her delicate senses. I hope the sand that she is sticking her head into is strawberry flavored.

    I'm a woman in my twenties and I lost my baby long past the 3 month point!

    I must have missed it. I don't go on the December board that much because people p*ss me off. There was one the other day about a girl not wanting to go to a funeral for her best friend's brother because of putting stress on the baby. Oh and that she'll feel better once she reaches the "safe zone." Like what the hell is the "safe zone?"

    I believe we share a bmb, I'll have to go search this post out.  I generally stay away from anything relating to the What to Expect movie.

    I started writing a long post yesterday on December '12 about NT scans and all of the ridiculous "I would never terminate" responses they generate but then I stopped myself.  I figure let them live in their naive little dream worlds.

    Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12

    Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
