I saw the post below and wanted to comment. I plan on RF for as long as possible, most likely beyond 2 years. I came across a blog back in January about a family that was in a severe car accident and their 18 month old died of a severed spine. It's never mentioned if he was RF or FF in his car seat and I don't think that it would be fair to ask because it wouldn't change anything and just make the parents feel worse. I will not take the chance with my child's life knowing it can mean the difference in life or death. The amount of guilt I would feel knowing it could have been prevented...I wouldn't be able to live with myself. I usually don't post often, but I truly hope anyone who wants to turn their kids before the minimum age of 2 would think about the potential consequences of doing so.
Here's the link to the blog if you are interested. It's very sad and there are graphic pictures in some posts, but it really makes me grateful for what I have.
Re: RE: RF vs FF
We RF as long as we can #1 was 27 months when we switched her. #2 we just turned she is almost 2.5. The only reason for turning the, was they out grew the height restriction on there seats.
Check out this site to see why you should stay RF
