again...so mad with the "procedure"

K....just so pissed right now. IVF got cancelled after just three days on meds due to oversuppression. Boo. At that point I'm to call at day one....which was this past Thursday.....I get told to start the BCP today and my day three u/s will be in July.....are you f'in serious....frikken JULY. My office does every other month...the RE believes that the BCP combats the growth of cyst.....k' whatever....April to July. I wish there was another office that I could use. I have faith in this RE but I just get so upset with these "delays". After my lap the RE said he did not want to wait too long...like more than 6 months.....yup that was in December..... I so wish I could just take my money and go to Europe and do a vacation IVF.

Fibroid removal Nov2010
IUI Clomid #1 Feb 2011...BFN..damn it!
IUI Inject's #2 Apr 2011...CANCELLED...low estradiol
IUI Inject's #3 June 2011...BFN
IUI Inject's #4 Sept2011...BFFN
Lap Dec 2011...severe endo..cyst removed..some remains...
IVF#1 Apr 2012 ....cancelled due to over suppression
IVF#2 July 2012....6 follies...only 1 retrieved....BFFN
surgery suggested to move ovary to an better placement but....we moved two time zones away and are financially and emotionally empty

    I'm sorry. That seems ridiculous that they would cancel you after only 3 days of stims. I didn't even get checked until Day 5 of stims for 1 & 2.  Older ovaries need time to wake up!  Big hugs.

    i don't get monitored until after 5 days, seems like your clinic is pulling the plug prematurely.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    Positive for HLA-B27, I'm a mutant :p
    Testing - Me ok, gluten issue? DH - borderline count, low motility
    4/28/11 IUI#1 = BFP!(5/25), EDD 2/2/12 - m/c 5w3d
    7/3, 7/31, 9/25 - IUI#2-4=BFN
    IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d
    FET#1 3/2/12 - 2 blasts =BFP!! EDD 11/18/12, us#1 = twins! Confirmed m/c 5w6d
    4/20-surprise BFP and another c/p 4w2d
    FET#2 7/16/12 - 2 blasts = BFN
    FET#3 8/20/12 - 1 blast - BFP!! Beta #1-2=177, 354

    FET#4 12/11/2015 - BFN - 4 blasts remaining
    FET#5 2/18/16 - BFP!!!  Beta1-3, 126, 250, 745!!

    I m mostly mad at having to wait for so many months.....getting cancelled was crappy but I was okay with it because being oop I trusted the RE opinion to ditch the cycle for a better looking cycle...based on the stats.  Spending thre e grand and then not gettting to ER would have killed me.

    I would definitely take the opportunity to get a second opinion. It seems curious to me that they would cancel you due to over-suppression and then stick you right on BCPs again, which could cause you to be over-suppressed again. Have you asked about perhaps trying an antagonist protocol? I would consider calling another RE to get their opinion and asking about whether you might be a candidate for a different protocol in light of your cancellations. Good luck!
