I am excited and nervous at the same time. Anyone have any tips for RCS. With DS it was a failed induction so when they said c-section I was so tired it was just a go with the flow type thing,
TIA.

I am almost 3 weeks out, and my recovery has gone pretty well. I had lots of help the 1st week and DH didn't go back to work until 2 weeks pp. I didn't start lifting our 20 month old until 2 weeks out and still limit it. Just make sure to keep up with your pain meds and take it easy. I'm sure it will go great! Good luck!
My planned RCS was actually quite relaxing. The only sucky part was the freezing needle before the spinal, but my midwife was there helping me through that (this was before they let DH come in).
I was much more "with it" this time and was able to really take in the experience and felt like I participated more/remember more. It was wonderful!
Having a stockpile of chocolate meal replacement shakes with me at the hospital was a life-saver. The hospital food was gross and I didn't want to eat too much after the surgery (tummy was "meh" and I didn't want to overload my system before I was regular again).
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.
